N179SW (cn AC-643) Hybrid wearing Skywest Airlines colors and Western Express titles is seen approaching runway 27 routing SAN-LAX, connecting to Western Airlines. Delivery date was during May 1986. Other serials - N643AV with Skywest Airlines, N179SW with Bell Atlantic Leasing, and also CP-2321 with Aerosur. Sadly, W/O December 31, 1997 at Trinadad, Bolivia with Aerosur as CP-2321. Aircraft lost control on take-off roll and ran off side of runway, at which time the left main landing gear failed - no fatalities.
